Philips has developed an automatic solution to detect TB. The solution helps reduce the workload of radiologists and make their work less subjective. The Philips algorithm detects if there are traces of TB present in an image (generated from a scanner from any vendor). The solution learns TB-specific features from the images which are unique in chest X-rays using deep learning techniques, and then uses machine learning algorithms to generate classifier models that can distinguish a chest X-ray that contains TB traces from normal ones: Philips Products
